80’s Fusion

It all started with the pants: it’s no secret I’m obsessed with the 60’s and 70’s and therefore a large connoisseur of wide-leg and flared pants. I loved how Matthew Adams Dolan was able to create a unique version that truly brought flared jeans into 2018–there’s nothing dated about it. I decided to really clash the eras here and pair the pants with my oversized vintage Dior double-breasted tweed blazer that I’ve had for a few years. To add color and a streetwear vibe I styled it with my old graffiti print Maison Margiela tee and my heather grey Nike Air Max. Because of the cool slit in the pants, I found these Urban Outfitters rose print socks that add a thoughtful touch that peeps through when walking. To make the look more modern, balance the casual shoe, and simply because it’s freezing outside, I wore over it my Mackage puffer jacket and Paul Smith calf hair gloves. This is a really cool way to go to any meeting in the winter.
